Cameron is a corporate America drop-out. Having spent three years as a management consultant for Deloitte & Touche and eighteen months managing the marketing of a CAD software company, Cameron decided to take his career out from behind a desk and into the gym. He spent three years as the triathlon coach for a Leukemia research organization, and currently acts as the fitness advisor to several SCUBA diving organizations.
Cameron has introduced hundreds of clients
to new levels of fitness over his career. He prepares elite
athletes for national and world championships, just as he prepares
elite parents for the demands of raising kids. His understanding
of the corporate lifestyle is sought after by area executives.
Brides-to-be walk down the aisle in the best shape of their lives.
In short, he helps many "ordinary" people achieve extraordinary goals.
Cameron lives daily with the inspiration
he gains from many of his clients. He has
helped cancer patients maintain their conditioning during and
after
radiation
and chemo. He has extensive experience training both Type 1 and
Type 2 diabetics. He has trained clients with multiple sclerosis,
autism, spina bifida, paraplegia, osteoporosis, harrington rods,
and other conditions that require experience most personal trainers
don't have. Cameron wouldn't be the trainer he is today if it weren't
for the gifts these clients give by sharing their journeys with
him.
Cameron is also an author. His fitness
articles for divers have been translated into seven languages and
published
worldwide. He is also author of the bestselling book, "Fitness
for Divers."
