Brittnie
has been working as an exercise physiologist and personal trainer
since she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Exercise
and Sports Science. Working with clients from their teens into
their 90's, Brittnie's favorite style of training is interval training,
pushing her clients
to
reach
goals
they never
thought
they could.
Brittnie also has a lot of experience with
individuals with chronic conditions,
orthopedic
limitations, cancer training,
and
other special considerations.
She has worked as an Emergency Medical Technician since 2008
and has completed extensive training in high angle, swiftwater
and
confined space rescue through the South Orange Rescue Squad.
After a catastrophic fall in 2010 resulting in a serious back injury,
Brittnie learned what it means to be fit with limitations of
her
own. Despite this challenge, she is ready to get back to triathlon
training for next year's season.
When not working, Brittnie loves to spend time with her cocker
spaniel, Netty, and cook gourmet meals for her friends.
